This winter scene of FatBike riding is on the same trail as our "Mountain Bike Heaven" T-shirt. We ride the same trails in summer, fall or winter, but if we're lucky enough to own a fatbike, we can keep pedalling even when the snow flies! While the original photo was taken on one of my favorite local rides near Pittsburgh, the aesthetic evokes the sweeping vistas of Jake's Rocks and the legendary Allegrippis trails. Underneath the snow, who knows what lies beneath and a fatbike helps with traction and cushions the blows. This is where a fat bike truly shines, its wide tires soaking up the hidden rocks and branches that would otherwise catch you by surprise. After all, as the saying goes, "Fatter is Funner!"
